I went to the library earlier to see if they had any "how to break dance" videos (my brother wants one for his birthday). I couldn't find any of those, but I did stumble upon a VHS of Miles Davis live in Montreal. Then I decided to look through their jazz cds...

It's kind of cool when I can't even get through HALF of the FIRST shelf (out of 4 I think) without wanting to check out over 5 cds. So I decided I'll limit myself to 5ish to avoid an overload of jazz. I'll probably go back in a week or so and check out more. Anyway, today I checked out:

Eric Clapton-Me and Mr. Johnson <--- A bunch of Eric Clapton's covers of Robert Johnson)
Back to the Crossroads: The Roots of Robert Johnson <--- A bunch of recordings that influenced Robert Johnson's music
Best of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong <--- Speaks for itself
John Coltrane-A Love Supreme <--- Supposedly the greatest Coltrane album ever. Somehow, I haven't ever heard the whole thing...until now
