Amazing Show.

Michael Franti and Spearhead: Opened the show. A very good opening choice, not really a big fan of the singer(s) stage presence, but they put on a good show, and had alot of fan interaction. I actually enjoyed the music show much I bought the cd. They have a very "Reggae, Groove" vibe. Great opener.

John Mayer: Was fantastic. Also, gave Michael Akerfeldt a run for his money for being funny on stage. Also, the man can WAIL! on guitar.

Funny few notes:

"Me taking off my jacket, you understand, is sort of like Sylvester Stallone turning his hat around in 'Over the Top,' You know, like Sylvester Stallone says in 'Over the Top,' one movie in a giant string of arm-wrestling movies. That's when you know Hollywood was flush with cash. Somebody walked in and said, 'I got an idea, you take Stallone ... ' they're like, 'Sold. Wait, hold on, what's he doing?' 'He's arm wrestling.' 'Double sold. Let's do it.' 'You know I wondered, did he say "Over the top" in the movie? Could that movie have been that 80's. He turns around his hat and says "I'm going to take it, OVER THE TOP". Well anyway, me taking of my jacket is my way to tell you, I'm taking it over the top."

(After adding Michigan cities into the song "Who Says")
"Yeah, I'm geographically cool"

Him getting the crowd to sing along rant was also funny, but cant remember his wording.

Amazing show, Great time.
