For some reason, the formatting seems to be off -- perhaps it's only the comm page's style and the offset for your user photo?

Hmm... Maybe I should remove the center tag. It's done this with other poems I've posted in the past, but since no one brought it up, I figured it was probably just my monitor.

It could be a difference in resolution; my monitor's at 1024X768 but it's definitely fine on my friends page (so it's also probably due to the style sheet for the community).

You're probably right. Though there are poems that appear here that are perfectly centered... Maybe it's random? I've been on livejournal for almost a year, and there's still some things I haven't figured out.

Also - what made you choose this poem of Carruth's?

Mostly because it's non-traditional. I like that the poet's experimenting with sound rather than meaning, though, yeah, these are real names of real people that might have a significance to him.
