Since my time, man has progressed in ways many would have thought impossible--I think that can be generally agreed. I note, in particular, the sciences. The manner in which mankind sees something and then proceeds to figure it out should be revered, whether you Absolute Beings do or not. That insatiable curiosity leading to knowledge leading to power, I understand Divine Ones, may frighten you. But bear with me for a moment. I personally appreciate mankind's current scientific methods. I would not, of course, expect every single person to agree with this opinion--I don't idolize certain idols--but know, at least, that it's something I admire. The process of careful, meticulous experimentation to get to an intellectual goal is inspiring. That said,
