There has to be something in the water these past few weeks. Or maybe I'm just starting to pay attention more. Either way, I wish it would stop. There are so many other things to do.

And if there aren't...well, we can invent something!

[There's a long, long pause as she's about to stop and then remembers something. Her next words are a touch sad.]

Well that almost seems...fun. If not a little risky.

You think people might take it too far, you mean?

Exactly. I have faith in most of them. But...not all.

The prize for winning the game would just have to be that much greater than...well, actually killing someone, I suppose.

It seems like a fun idea!

Yes, everybody could dress up.

But what could the prize be?

I don't know. It would have to be something that appeals to everyone.

It's hard to think of what might be better than actually killing someone when you don't think actually killing someone sounds very good at all.

And what's to stop anyone from killing after?

I'm not sure, miss, but one could wonder what's to stop anyone from killing any time?

One would hope that they're stopped because it's wrong. But that never stops anyone here.

That never really stops some people anywhere, I'm afraid.

I know. But it's a nice thought.
