Those Solid Lines
It's a pet peeve, I guess. That solid white line or yellow line you see on the highway. No that line isn't my pet peeve. It's the drivers who ignore it.
Remember in drivers’ education we were taught that solid lines in your lane meant do not cross? Remember? Yes, I know you remember, but evidently most other drivers have forgotten. Only a few feet away from the dotted line, but they can’t wait.
Next time you are on the highway test my pet peeve. Check out those solid lines and see how many of the other drivers ignore them.
