(no subject)
Today seriously sucked balls. It started out far too early, when I had to take my car in to get its brakes fixed at 11. It just so happened that no one I know in town was available to pick me up until after noon, so I got to wait around for that. Then, the blasted ice storm knocked out the power around 6:30, and it was out until after midnight. All of Timber Creek was out, as well as the apartment complex next to us.
The worst part was that there was absolutly nothing I could do. I didn't have a car, so I couldn't go anywhere. Kevin was already out of town, James was at home with his wife and kid, and Andrea was busy in the lab, so there wasn't anyone for me to hang out with. I'm just glad the power came on tonight, or I would have spent an incredibly boring night sitting in the dark with nothing to do.
Actually, the worst part might be that I'm still without heat. It didn't kick back on when the power did. I'm really hoping it does sometime soon, it's starting to get pretty chilly in here. Thankfully, I get free electricity, so I could just plug in my space heater, which I just now remembered I have.
In other news, I'm still jobless. I really don't much care, though I probably should. Meh.
