[f-f-friends cut] uh

lol so I just cut about 20 journals from my f-list because they were internet-dead/we no longer talk/we've never talked/our interests no longer match up. None of those were people I've added since the last friending meme--it's only been a couple of months, and I've been on a half-hiatus for most of it. So I'd love to continue getting to know all of ( Read more... )

I hope you don't mind that I neither know nor care about JE. I know that's not why we're friended, but I get self-conscious.

That's absolutely fine. It's not everyone's thing. :) With Gokaiger starting back up I'm about to jump back into toku anyway, so there'll finally be some balance on my lj again, if that means anything. I've been a really lax friend for a really long period, haven't I? >___>;;

Gokaiger excites me. I should try whipping up a gif of that next time I decide to try animated gifs again. But I wanted an absurd reaction to feeling bad for this comment.

So have I, so have I. It happens. It's a personal LJ, so post what you want! I just can't comment on JE, and that makes me feel strangely guilty.

Everything I've heard about Gokaiger really has me kind of bouncing in my chair, seriously. Pirates! Homages that sound ridiculous! Captain Marvelous♥.

I don't mind at all--I mostly cut people who now post solely about things I have no interest in (like, say, Dr. Who or Stargate) or never post at all. I like having people with varying interests on my f-list because I go through so many fandom cycles and post about all sorts of things over the course of the year. (Which is just a really long way of saying I'm a fandom ho who jumps from one thing to another but ah well.)

I'm not into pirates so much, but I can't say no to a pirate captain named Captain Marvelous. How could I not watch a series that has such names and puts Kuwaga Raijer in a skirt and gives Green an absurdly low bounty?

... actually, I was just making a desktop pattern for myself.

I knoooow! Seeing them put skirts on all of those ~manly red costimes~ is going to be one of my main enjoyment points, I think. ♥ It all just seems so ridiculous to me. Goseiger disappointed me by being too bland, but I'm hoping that a premise this silly gives us at least hilarity between character development.

Oh?

I'm generally anti-suitskirts, but I'm glad to see male suits become girl suits, so I'll be forgiving.

Gokaiger! From this image I ripped off TV-Asahi's site. I don't change terribly often, but I wanted something less obviously fandom than usual.

Yeah, that was more what I meant. Slapping skirts on costumes originally worn by men makes me smile for some reason.

It's so pretty *__* and it'd make a good wallpaper, I do obnoxious fandom wallpapers a lot and it can get tiring. I made a set of the various Kamen Rider logos that were nice and understated, which was a nice change from my usual ~hot asians~ or game screencaps...

Because female badassery is badass.

My desktop for years was basically a screencap with a touch of white blur. Fafner is one of my favorite anime series, but I really wanted something less obvious. There's a similar background with GoukaiGalleon, but I really am looking for neutral fandom desktop to go with my not obviously fandom ringtone.

Hell yes it is.

I change desktops all the time, but they're pretty much all obviously fandom-y recently. You get a little tired of it after a while. My ringtone is the Hibiki theme from Decade because it just sounds like trumpet music to people who don't know, so I know how you feel!

Then we can still be friends. :D

My ringtone is Asuka's harmonica. It sounds like a unique default, so nobody actually asks me what it is or assumes I formatted it and everything myself.

Excellent!

The only ringtone I get questions about these days (thankfully) is my continued insistence on using the dramatic theme for Gaoh as the tone for my mother, since everyone confuses it with a Star Wars theme.
