that I had to catch a series of trains to somewhere, constantly missing my train, having to sleep at the train station for the next available departure, and other nonsense ... until, when I got there, all the people who said would be there were not and I was in a very strange city indeed. Instead of going to hang out, I was assigned to cut off an overhanging half of a tree in someone's large back yard, which was under threat of being struck by lightning. When finished chainsawing, and barely allowing the branch to avoid a parked car cleverly enough parked directly under the tree, I looked at a stock ticker indoors, from which the last remnants of the residents - mostly high school people I hadn't seen in a good 10 years but with whom I was mysteriously close friends - were departing. And for some reason decided to give Tim a call. Hey, Tim, want to go to London? He hovered a minute on the line and then said quietly and hoarsely, sure. I wasn't sure I believed him.
And now back to the shew.
