Character History: Jack Spicer is the son of two wealthy parents. His mother stayed and home to raise Jack while his father, an international businessman, travelled all across the world on business. Even when he was home, he often paid little attention to Jack, and tried to make up for this by sometimes sending Jack small trinkets from various places. This didn’t impress Jack once it was clear to him that this was the only attention from his father he was going to get.

Matters only grew worse once Jack started school. He always looked weird with his pale skin and red eyes, and he acted even weirder. He was a fast learner when it came to math and learning how to read, but he was an incredibly slow learner when it came to picking up on social norms and interactions. He was always made fun of in school and worse, his father began to notice how weird he was as well and would often mention this at parties. His mother, though she was normally very loving and caring, had the unfortunate tendency to go along with it as well.

In second grade, Jack came to the conclusion that the solution was to become evil and take over the world, so that he could force people to respect him. It was at this point that his grandmother, who was evil herself, gave him his helibot which he’s used ever since. Due to his skills with mechanics, he’s been able to repair and maintain it so that it remains in perfect condition. At first he wasn’t able to do much, but his skills with machines led him to build a a wide variety of machines, most importantly his Jack-Bots, which he’d frequently use in the future.

When Jack was twelve, he received a gift of a puzzle box from his father. Being very good at puzzles, he solved it in only a few seconds before tossing it away. However, solving the puzzle released the ghost of Wuya, an ancient witch who instructed him to collect shen gong wu, magical items that granted their wielder a wide variety of abilities that could be used in various situations, so that he could rule the world. He did this for the following three years, during which time Wuya repeatedly betrayed him, leading him to make a wu detector which meant that he no longer needed her to find shen gong wu. He met and worked with a few other villains himself, though his most notable meeting with another villain aside from Wuya was Chase Young.

Chase Young had always been Jack Spicer’s evil idol, and from the moment he met him he practically worshipped the ground he walked on. However, the adoration was not returned, and Chase mostly found Jack annoying, though he did from time to time find uses for Jack Spicer. Wuya ultimately regained her human form with the help of Chase Young, who she ended up teaming up with from then on. Jack Spicer was jealous, and while he still idolized Chase Young, he also fantasized about showing him up to show that he was worthwhile as a villain, one time trapping Chase Young in a clear ball and taking over Chase’s palace. However, this didn’t last, and Jack Spicer was quickly thrown out once Chase freed himself. After this, Jack felt a mixture of wanting to impress Chase and work with him, and being eager to preserve himself over doing anything to help Chase. For example, one time when he, Chase, and the monks were cornered by spiders, Jack Spicer saved himself using the golden tiger claws and left all of the others, Chase included, alone with the spiders.

Jack Spicer has now Woken shortly after a big battle against the Xiaolin monks and the Heylin forces, who had gathered to attack shortly after a quest in which the Xiaolin monks had travelled back in time to keep Chase from becoming evil and, discovering that they had only made things worse, had to fix their mistake.

Character Personality: Jack Spicer, self-titled Evil Boy Genius, is the result of exceedingly rich and inattentive parents, a genius mind, and a teenager’s maturity level. Jack has always been an outcast, and even his parents think he’s weird, and say so in public. In school he’s always been made fun of for being weird, and for this reason he began having fantasies in the second grade of being evil, taking over the world, and making all the other kids regret ever making fun of him.

Later, the presence of Wuya as his evil instructor, and the Xiaolin dragons as opponents, it solidified his fantasies of himself as a super villain. However, despite enjoying taunting the Xiaolin dragons, he doesn’t truly hate them, though over time it is very likely that his rivalry with them will grow more serious. Rather, he simply enjoys the challenge of trying to beat them. Also, while he dislikes how his parents talk about him, he actually does love his mother, though he mostly feels indifferent to his father who is rarely around.

As his boasts claim, Jack is actually a genius. He is able to design and create very complex robots using materials he cobbles together by stealing from scrap yards, making deals with other villains, and buying things on credit cards he steals from his parents. However, his genius ends in the creation and programming of his robots, and he’s completely devoid of common sense. He can make a working robot from scraps he finds in a junk yard, but then he’ll power it using an extension cord that is too short, causing it to lose power before it reaches who it’s intended to fight. He does create some things that are useful, such as a time machine he built once that was destroyed. He also has a backpack that was a gift from his grandmother that has two propellers that come out of it, allowing him to fly.

Jack creates many inventions from odds and ends and even comes up with a clever scheme once in a while, but has a horrible memory and observational skills. He’s easily tricked by others, and can easily be manipulated by those he sees as being evil and powerful. When he met Chase Young, he was eager to do whatever it took to make him happy, and while later on Chase’s constant annoyance with Jack led Jack to want to get one over on Chase, before that he was eager to do anything he could to impress Chase. However, he doesn’t necessarily latch onto every evil person he sees, since when he met Kat Nappe, he simply found her annoying. He also frequently foils his own plans due to his desire to gloat, and when he does get ahead in one of his schemes, he’ll frequently give the heroes the opening they need by stopping and gloating until they have time to come up with a plan. This likely ties in with the fact that he really sees all of this as a game, and doesn’t see the point in doing it if he doesn’t have fun doing it.

Despite his idolization of evil, Jack seems mostly insecure. The heroes have convinced him to ‘go for ice cream with them sometime’ and he was hopeful when they brought up the fact that he liked basketball, hoping they’d play with him. Mostly, Jack is just a lonely seventeen year old with a lack of self-confidence and a very skewed sense of reality. Though it has been shown in an alternate future that he could become truly evil, he really isn’t there yet. He is also a very skilled figure skater and loves bananas and pudding cups.

Jack also is afraid of several things, including the dark and his greatest fear of being flushed down the toilet.
Powers and Abilities: Jack has no powers, per se, but he has a few talents that are actually rather impressive. He can build functioning robots from whatever he finds, such as bits and pieces from a scrap yard, and while they fall apart easily, he’s able to program them to follow his commands and at least mimic human emotion in some of the more complex ones. He’s capable of building machines capable of flight, of fighting, and even made a chameleon bot which could change it’s appearance on command. He also made a robot version of himself that mimicked him well enough to interact with his mother without her being able to tell the difference.

He is also an excellent figure skater, capable of executing a perfect triple salchow.

Network: [Jack appears on the screen, tapping the device.] Is this thing on? [He clears his voice. Now, I can see how anyone would want me as part of their evil scheme, but really, all you had to do is ask. And maybe negotiate a bit on what I, Jack Spicer, evil boy genius, will be getting out of all of this! Don’t worry, I won’t ask for much. Just a truckload of parts I could use, like carburetors, wires, a few sheets of aluminum, and some inertia measurement units wouldn’t be in bad taste.

So, uh...now that we’ve established what I’ll work for, um...care to tell me what I’m here for in the first place? Because while I’m all for it, whatever it is, but my mom’s baking some cookies for a bake sale tonight, and I’d kind of like to snag a few before we get too far into the evil scheming.

Oh, and to whoever kidnapped me, this thing is hooked up to contact you, right? And this is part of an evil scheme that you’re planning on turning into some kind of evil team up? I’d like an answer asap. Thanks.

Third Person: Jack flew over the scene of destruction, the sound of his propellers whipping through the wind in the air above him in his ears as he assessed the damage. Damage from what, he didn’t know, but this place looked like it had been through a warzone, and now people were moving around, presumably to pick up the pieces. The question was, what had happened, and why was he here?

Was he supposed to stop the repairs, maybe? Some villain brought him to throw another wrench in the works? Or was he supposed to help? Maybe this was some kind of city of evil. It would be nice if, when he was kidnapped by another villain wanting an evil team-up, which was what must have happened, they’d explain what he was doing there in a reasonable time span. Well, he wasn’t going to do anything until he knew what he was supposed to be doing. Fortunately, he had everything that had been on his person when he was taken, plus his cell phone. He could call around, find out if any of the other villains knew what was up with this city.

When he took out his phone, however, he didn’t get any reception. However, on a whim he decided to hit the ‘web’ button, and surprisingly it made a connection. When it pulled up the internet screen, however, it wasn’t his usual screen, but instead showed something that looked like some kind of website like livejournal mixed with Youtube. It gave options for text, camera, and voice, and as he scrolled down, there were a bunch of other entries. Well, obviously whoever took him must have set this thing up, since he didn’t know how else his phone could be so clearly altered, so, he hoped, this must be intended to help him communicate with his abductor. Hitting the video button, Jack decided to make his first attempt at contact. He hoped all would go well.
