so i got an apt..and its not a studio.
long time no type. i wonder who actually reads my posts. besides poodle. anywho i was reading my past few posts and they are darn funny more people should read them. anywho
ok so i found an apt for those of you who dont know already. its a 2 bed 2 bath. of course i get the better bath. the bedrooms are the same. the carpet in the apt is the most hideous color to try and decorate around but i dont really care cuz im not planning on living too long in that place. plannin' on movin on UP! so we get the keys july 31st and we move out of here the same day which means the 31st will be one LONG ass day. its the same apt i talked about a few posts b4 in LA around santa monica and west hollywood. closer to west hollywood though. its really close to everything which is coool.
so the past few days ive just been trying to get shit straight with the apt. and getting my car washed and shit and enrolled at santa monica college and opening up a checking account at bank of america and just alot of shit. its like the busiest 2 weeks of my life seriously. once i get settled into my new place and find a job and get straight with school and all that, things should settle down a little bit more.
besides doing all that, me and my cousin monica ( the agent) have been hanging out a few times. shes awsome. atleast i have one person out here that gets me. that i can have fun with. mike is such a bore. seriously such an old man. doesnt barely respond to anything i say, we barely go out and do anything i mean just as boring as a 90yr old man would be. cant wait to meet some friends out here so i can actually have fun~! GOD~!
and yes i go to church. its in BEL AIR on top of a hill and alot of gorgeous people go there so believe you me its not bad at all. plus its getting out and doing something. the whole flirting with the guy in church thing though.. well hes an actor and monica says they all have this thing of like- they know there cute and such.. preston ( the guy) is nice and not stuck up..he just hasnt shown the slighest bit of romantic interest in me which is odd considering i usually dont have to even THINK of trying. but honestly he isnt worth trying for. im so over it. lol.
so anyway here i am on a day off from the hecticness of doing stuff to get settled out here. mike is going to see the touring cast of WICKED tonight. yes hes going alone. i really wouldnt even want to pay 100 bucks to see the touring cast of anything to be honest. BLAH. i mean seeing in on broadway with kristen chenoweth was cool but the touring cast.eh not so much.
i really need to make some of my own friends. wont be for a while though till i get to school and a job and such. mike's friends arent bad at all- there nice and funny. just i guess im used to my friends that are actually like fun to be around and whatever. i dunno here the friends of mike are like older and 2 are married and there so like " this is my happy life" blah blah GAG. i need to find me some naughty rambunxious friends. yes oh yes. oh btw - got another parking citation. i wonder if i will win an award for most citations within 2 weeks of living here.
atleast mike has netflix. although weve already watched all of them ..
i bought NEW YORK, NEW YORK with robert dinero and miss liza minelli. it was so cute. i loved it. she is soo like her mother in this. its ridiculous. but soo endearing.
i did however buy the new harry potter book the other day. i havent gotten to read it yet though b/c i havent finished sense and sensability yet. im kinda not in the reading mood though so it will prob be a while. i am excited to watch the GLAAD special award show thing this sunday. ok so ive watched quite a few movies and i will recommend some:
THE HOURS ( yes the previews were kinda weird but oh my LORD its fucking AMAZING.)- theres a reason it wont for best picture and best actress ( nicole) although meryl streep and julianne moore also did amazingly in addition to the other smaller roles played by other known actors.
zoolander- NO. WASNT EVEN ENTERTAINED- AND IWAS DRUNK WATCHING IT.
being julia- i liked it alot. its about annete benning having ana affair - and shes a stage actress. good.
FULL FRONTAL- nope. didnt even get through the 1st 20 min b4 turning it off. it reminds me of the show the office- only WORSE. oh and julia roberts has the worst wig ive seen in forever. reminds me of her wig in HOOK.
RESTORATION- with the junior guy..the harry connick..the other one..and meg ryan and hugh grant etc.. its a 17th century movie apt the king and him having alot of money and riches and blah and the plague coming.. it was good. i enjoyed it. you prob will too.. if your into the plethora of hugenormous gowns and clothes they wore and the long fake wigs the men wore and having just alot of food and wine and sex and etc..
MONA LISE SMILE- it was ok. if your into julia roberts then youll like it. it was decent enough.
War of the Worlds- if u like tom cruise and or dakota fanning youll enjoy it. if you there for the story line forget it.
BewITCHED- very cute. and funny. i liked it bunches. and kristen chenoweth is in it!

july 29th me and mike will be going to the evidenceroom theatre in la to watch THE KILLERS- its a noir type play with nick offerman ( megan's hubby) in the lead. megan as you might recall was supposed to be in a show called THE FACULTY ROOM but it got replaced with the KILLERS. atleast im going opening night and its will call seating so i might get to sit next to megan if shes there which COME ON your his wife you should be there.. so cross your fingers and pray people.
i dunno what time they put on here.. eastern or pacific.. but its 2:25pm here now so well see.
ok enough my hands are tired. time to watch tv or something.
