Long time no see, right? sorry about that ^^; ... but hey! I brought a new tutorial for you, I hope you like it.

1. Ok, first of all, let's bright our image a little bit more, all right?... Well, in my case, I duplicated the image like two times, both copies set to Screen 100%... of course, if you wanto to, you can sharpen it.



2. Bright enough by now, but I need more color... I don't like too much blue, so let's create a new Color Balance layer and fill it with the next settings:

Highlights: +11, +12, +7
Midtones: +23, +7, -40
Shadows: +13, +9, -12



3. Yeah, I know, it doesn't look much better now, but wait to the next step to star seeing some changes. All right, using a Slective Color layer we're gonna fix the actua colors and make them better good looking, put these settings:

Reds: -26, +35, +31, +82
Yellows: -47, +20, -28, +6
Greens (Only if it's necessary): -72, +100, -100, +63
Blues: -100, +100, -100, +100
Neutrals: +7, -6, +3, -5



4. Much better now, right? I told you :D ... Now, create a new Adjustment Layer, Brightness/Contrast, I want it a little bit brighter, puet these settings:

Brightness: +20
Contrast: -44



5. Let's continue. This is gonna sound mean, but I want to bring out Patrick's wounds, that's why we're gonna create a second Color Balance layer:
Highlights: -10, -9, +3
Midtones: +15, -23, -8
Shadows: -28, -4, +13



6. Oops! I think it looks not so good, don't worry, another Slective Color layer will fix it:

Reds: -100, +6, +34, -30
Yellows: +99, -16, -30, +15
Cyans: +100, -100, -100, +100
Whites: -23, +20, +19, -30
Blacks: 0, 0, 0, +100



7. ¬w¬ again dark... all right, let's use a new Curves layer to bright it up, but this time, much better than before:

Output: 158
Input: 128



8. Yay!! Now create a new adjustmen layer, but this time Hue/Saturation to avoid how pale Patrick is now.

Hue: 0
Saturation: +10
Lightness: 0



9. New adjustment layer, Selective Color, but only red... why? Well, I want bright up a little bit the wounds and injures (yeah ._. again... ;-; I'm a terrible person).

Reds: -100, +100, +100, 0



10. Ok, for the text I used the font "Carpenter ICG" and the size is 18 pt... It doesn't look like, right?



11. I liked the coloring very much, but I wanted to usea at least one texture and the one I used was this by ... ok, I don't remember, if you know it, please tell, ok? ^w^ ... Well, now, with a soft brush erase what's covering the face and that's it!



12. Well, just a little bit brighter... new adjustment layer, Brightness/Constrast with these settings:

Brightness: +15
Contrast: -50
