I think my mom's role as nag has reached a new height. Today she started nagging the cat... so bazaar. Apparently he had been playing with a little stuffed bear and carrying it around and stuff and so my mom didn't want to throw it away if he was going to keep playing with it but today she comes into the back room where Rocco is looking out the window and she shows him the bear and goes "Listen, if you don't play with this in the next few hours i'm giving it away. Ok? I'm going to leave it here and if you move it around we'll keep it, but if its still here in a couple hours thats it. I'm tired of this hanging around. So play with it if you want it, otherwise its going away." And she walked away. He just looked at her and kept looking out the window. Oh man... at least she keeps things interesting!
Yesterday we went to a free Shakespearian production of Love's Labour's Lost at Beardsley Zoo. It was really good! The setting had been placed at a college university in 1963, and usually i cannot stand when plays are taken away from their original context, but this actually worked really well and it was really good. It was kind of depressing to be single though because it was all about love and most people were there with their significant other and they were dancing and stuff and I was just like bummer...
In other news, Harry Potter is coming along nicely except for the fact that my father keeps stealing the book from me. I'll bring it downstairs from my room and put it on the table and my dad will literally wait until i turn around, snag it, and sneak outside to read it for hours... so I am grossly behind schedule. Its ok though, I'm glad he has something exciting to do when he goes home.
Moe is coming to visit tomorrow which is so exciting! I haven't seen her in WAY long and i miss her, plus, she's never been to my house before so thats exciting, well, kind of exciting, its exciting for me but my house itself is not exciting.... whatever clever
It is a beautiful summer day today. I'm trying to write an actual letter and it takes me forever because I get so particular about my words, which is ironic because when I actually speak I don't think before doing so, which always causes problems. Anyway, I'm off to finish this letter and to hopefully read some Harry before dad gets home, although I don't see that being a possibility... oh well...
