Can't you see that I dont need this place, I dont need these walls

It's stupid to say you can save someone.
You cannot save someone who doesnt want to be saved.
Dont even try because you will fall so much harder then them when you realize you have failed.
You will beat yourself up about it.
Saving someone from their own self is useless

.....You're....

Clownlike, happiest on your hands,
Feet to the stars, and moon-skulled,
Gilled like a fish. A common-sense
Thumbs-down on the dodo's mode.
Wrapped up in yourself like a spool,
Trawling your dark, as owls do.
Mute as a turnip from the Fourth
Of July to All Fools' Day,
O high-riser, my little loaf.

Vague as fog and looked for like mail.
Farther off than Australia.
Bent-backed Atlas, our traveled prawn.
Snug as a bud and at home
Like a sprat in a pickle jug.
A creel of eels, all ripples.
Jumpy as a Mexican bean.
Right, like a well-done sum.
A clean slate, with your own face on.

You always shone so bright. Your luminance will get you away from that place, that horrible drab place.
We've kept our memories locked up safe in a vault I've forgotten the code for. It's okay, don't fret. Those walls are not invincible. There they will stay until a day fit for retrieving them. We will sit under the old rail bridge with a bottle of baby duck (you remember the one), warming ourselves by a fire built for two. We will reminisce about the past, talk about the present, and dream of the future.
