Road to Project A-Kon
Hey guys:
GreatDragon AD. Yes, I have rose back from the ashes of my journal and made a new entry. Things have been going great recently. Doing well at work, gotten Metal Saga and Super Princess Peach, rose to rank 31 in Team Slayer at Halo 2, finished paying the repairs for my Isuzu Trooper '98 and rides like a dream now... Nothing could get better than this. Oh, wait a minute. It does. That's right, me and my brother will be heading to this year's Project A-Kon. It has been 3 years since my last visit. I've been twice back the con took place at the Hyatt Hotel on DFW Airport. A-Kon have been the first Anime con that I ever been. I have great memories back then. Gotten my first commissions from Fred Perry and John Barrett, met the Boardies from the A-Kon forum, entered Fanboy Feud and the Anime Memory Game...So many great moments I had there.
This year will be the best one yet. It takes place at Adams Mark Hotel since A-Kon 15. Meaning it will be much more bigger than at the Hyatt. Me and my brother will get to room with BAR-1 of WLP's Peter is the Wolf. Besides the usual artists there, other ones I know of will be there and I get to meet them in person for the first time. Even Kozou Shimokata of great hentai doujinshi anthology fame will be there. Other than that, I get to see my old friends from the A-Kon forum again and meet my buddies from the bakunyuu.com forum for the first time. Other than that, just the usual commission requesting, Dealer's Room/Komik Market shopping, and the fun event-joining that I'll be doing at the con. I may hang out with some of the guys at the con too.
Seriously, I may have gone through tough times in the past but its all behind me. No new problems have ever gotten in my way since then if I recall. Still requetsing commissions at this time but the artists such as :iconmasterokiakai:, :icondarkzel:, and such are enjoying drawing my characters. Recently, I've been in a writing mood as of late. Just finished a hentai fan fic story of Naruto's Tsunade and two new comic scripts about my characters. I mean, I finished two scripts in one week and the last one was 28 pages long in page by panel format. That's the longest script I have ever written. I'm definitely improving after every story I finish. I'm starting to think it might be a career for me. Just need an editor to take care any changes and grammar fixes for me, heh heh. Overall, life has been going well for me and my family and want to say thanks for everyone who supported me in the past. If anyone wants to meet me, I'll be at A-Kon going through the dealer's room and meeting artists at the komik market. I'll be wearing my Puertorican flag basketball jersey and bandana or my dragon shirt. Thank you for your time.
