Character Information
Name: L Lawliet
Series/Fandom: Death Note
Age: 25 (explained in history)
Gender: male
Sexuality: Aesexual. Considering he is so anti-social, he's probably fairly naive and in general, L doesn't really care about relationships.
Student or Faculty Member/Professor: Student, Sophomore year.
Major: Crimonology
Minor:
Residence: Dorms
Occupation: Detective, not that he's open about that
Appearance:
L looks odd, to say the least. He has spiky, uncombed, wild black hair that covers where his eyebrows would be (if he had any), and empty, grey eyes. Under his eyes are the darkest, black bags that you could see on any human. It's as if he's never slept, or is part panda or raccoon. His dark bags are accented by his pale skin, showing he rarely goes outside in the sun.
Usually L wears the same clothes over and over again. Baggy blue jeans, and a white, long-sleeved shirt. If possible, he doesn't wear shoes. Shoes are too confining, but if necessary (when walking around in public) he does wear them.
Personality:
L is a reclusive sugar addict who appears generally apathetic. Although he appears unemotional, he is quite competitive, and somewhat childish. If he were put into a situation where he had to compete for something, he would quietly do his best to win, and would be a bit of a sore loser if the situation comes up in which he would lose.
The way L thinks is very analytical, with emphasis on percentages, calculations, and numbers. Mostly, his thoughts are kept to himself, as no one would understand, and there would be no reason to share. In truth, L really is a strange, social outcast, and hasn't really had any friends before (not that he minds, it's just a fact).
He is passionate about few things, one of them is justice. This leads L to stick to his work and stay up many late nights so that he can solve cases. Also, L only takes cases that he is interested in/are interesting.
History:
At a very young age, before he can remember, L's parents died. Because L was alone, he was taken in by an older man named Watari. As he grew up, it became clear L was gifted. Regular school just wasn't enough for the little genius.
When L got older he started to have an interest in detective work, and has since been involved in solving various cases. So far all have ended successfully, L is a sore loser, after-all, and wouldn't allow it to be otherwise.
As he finally reached the average age for college students, L assumed he didn't really need the education, and although he was right, he's going back to college now so that he can get a degree. Degrees are fairly important in the real world.
