So, I have noticed a few things about the dream world. Feel free to chime in if you've seen these things too, or don't know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping to come up with some more sets of information once I'm more familiar with it.
1. There are levels in there. During some periods of semi-lucidity, you'll notice that your consciousness is "popping" around, as though you actually exist on several different "levels" of reality at once, and your awareness is moving back and forth. Often this is represented by having a dream that you "fall asleep" in, only to be having another dream, or to "wake up" from only to still be in a dream world. However, these levels do seem to have some persistence, and when a lucid period interacts with such a "frame-moving" episode, you begin to realize that there are really several different mental realms that you're moving around within (possibly at once).
2. There seem to be other people in there. Occasionally you'll go ahead and use some power of manipulation over reality (like stopping time in the vicinity or controlling other people's actions), and you'll find that it doesen't quite work on everyone around. I'm not sure if these people are projections of feelings of insecurity, or what.
3. Occasionally people will lecture you about different topics. The other night, someone told me "there's almost no time, so travel in the form of the cadeuceus." Since this is a subtle reference to several things that you'd probably need grounding in both the occult and electromagnetism to understand, I'm assuming that this "person" was a projection of myself, telling me something I ought to know, or else making a play-on-concepts that I later found interesting. Anyway, I thought it was clever. However, beyond this, I seem to remember (at least on a few occasions) being treated to complicated lectures about the nature of the world I was in. I'd be happier if I could remember more about them. Has this happened to anyone else?
