My parents' house now features an airport
Mom has an aluminum iMac from last Christmas. This Christmas she got the little aluminum unibody Macbook Air. I thought I was going to need to split the ethernet cable from the satellite modem box, but then realized they could probably both use the AirPort Express, no new cables or splitters necessary. I couldn't get the old machine to grab onto it, but my old pal Hanz was up late on his machine in FL, and he took a look through some screen viewer app (this future is amazing), and remembered how to get it online. Now I'm in my old room - mom's current computer room with a bed still in it for my visits - and and she's on her new Air in the living room while watching TV. We're both online. She's never going to get off Facebook now.
