Best LTJ album since Rockview. Fucking seriously. Also, I wasn't online Tues-Thurs because I was following them around Florida. With Mustard Plug and Suburban Legends. Joygasm. My three favorite bands, guys. Together. Three nights in a row. Holy shit, yes. LTJ was awesome as per usual, the members of Mustard Plug recognize me now, and I got to hang out with Suburban Legends before and after each show. Those guys are amazingly nice. And they give hugs! Well, Derek and Luis were busy, but I got hugs from both Brians, Mikey, and Vince. I got like five hugs from Mikey, and a really really good one from Brian (Klemm). Hugs are AWESOME, guys. AWESOME. I love them even more now than I did before. Someone help me learn their dance moves because I so want to get on stage with JT next time.
Oh wait, I didn't mention that part. My friend and fellow jumblefucker (if I haven't told the jumblefucking story on LJ yet, please bitch slap me so I'll tell it), JT from Suckerpunch (which is his awesome ska band, btw), got drunk in St. Pete and was mocking SL's dance moves for Hey DJ. Chris Victim recorded it and slapped it up on youtube (right
hurr). Apparently, Luis (trumpeter for SL) likes to check youtube daily to see if people recorded their shows and posted them, and found this video immediately, and proceeded to show it to the band. They saw him in the crowd in Ft. Lauderdale (announcing to everyone that they saw him on youtube), and flipped out when they met him after the show (Brian Klemm gave the most exaggerated and rather flamingly gay "Fuck me!" I have ever seen. Text does it no justice, but I will gladly immitate it in person for you). They asked if he would be at the Orlando show. JT lives in Orlando. The answer was obvious. The result?
Check it.
