Ryan Gosling, Russian Line Dancing, Mel Brooks, and Me
Yeah yeah, spammity spam. Wasn't going to post this, but then I realized I have the perfect icon for it.
The night before the Oscar noms were announced I dreamt that Ryan Gosling and myself were watching a Russian line dancing troupe perform to the title song from Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
The next morning, Ryan Gosling didn't receive an Oscar nomimation. To make up for jinxing him, I went to see Blue Valentine, and it was very very good.
Sorry, Ryan, but you won't gain proper critical acclaim until you've starred in a musical about Russian line dancers directed by Mel Brooks. Half Nelson? PFFFFFT.
