Did I do anything today? NOOOOO of course not. I do have to work tomorrow (three days in a row), but then I get the entire pre-Christmas weekend off, which is really fucking weird.
Nathan still owes me $18.44 for the Rasputina ticket. I need to remember this.
I was just watching NBC Nightly News, and there was a story on how people are putting wreaths on tombstones at Arlington National Cemetery to honor those who died for their country. And I am such a cynic, because all I could think was "So if you're a Jew who died for your country and didn't celebrate Christmas. . . you're fucked?" Same goes for Muslims, atheists, Buddhists. . . whatever (I had to ponder whether I should capitalize "athiests." Hmm. No go).
That is mighty cynical of me, but I'm sick and fucking tired of those who assume everyone A) is Christian or B) celebrates Christmas. Get your heads out of your asses; even though you may find this hard to believe, not everyone shares your religious beliefs, and even if you think the heeeeathens will be tormented in hell by fiery toothpicks for all eternity for not eating Christ's body in the form of a Triscuit or whatever, you should at least respect their decision.
