closest i've gotten to being verbally molested
I was going to dye my hair today. OK. Meh.
Today was relatively uneventful--I work tomorrow and then have 2 days off. Still don't know what to get Stephen for X-Mas or his birthday (which is Jan. 6)--Series 1 of Doctor Who would've been a present for him and me (sorta), but even with my discount it's way way expensive. I'm not spending $70 on a DVD set. I'm sorry, I'm cheap like that.
Though I am sort of adrift on Christmas presents, Christmas cards have been purchased, though not actually written on yet. I'll do that soon, though. If you want a card but didn't provide me with your address, e-mail it to rebatrosity (at) gmail (dot) com.
Ooh, I almost forgot! This crazy old dude with a missing tooth came on to me at work yesterday. He said that he was a basketball player back in college, and he would've "gone wit" me. He proceeded to get a bit less skeezy, telling me that he could tell I was serious and consicentious, and that he can tell I read books (uh, I work in a bookstore, so I guess that makes sense), and those durn young'uns just don't read enough nowadays.
Actually, it was kind of sweet. I only regret that there were no witnesses, it would've been funny to talk about later.
