Why oh why must customers stay in the B&N after the store has closed? Well, it was only one person, and the answer to the "why" question is "she's stupid". We'd announced the store was closed, we were pulling the carts out for tomorrow's shelving, and she was just going about her merry business looking at aromatherapy books. Apparently she had not noticed that all the other customers were mysteriously no longer there. And then I had to check her out 15 minutes after we closed. Either she's stupid, completely obnoxious and inconsiderate, or has very very selective hearing. I'm leaning towards choices A or B.
There were also several customer situations today I bitterly regret getting into (note to customer: if I have told you I will call back about our other location holding some books for you, it would be nice to either stay near the phone so you can answer it or own a fucking answering machine. It is what they're FOR! The answering! If you bitch in any form about me not getting back to you about your PTSD books, I will find out and I will fucking flip!).
