I just want to start a flame in your heart
Long story short, got up at 0200, got to the elections office at 0400, returned at 2030 hours.
It was a pretty dull day down in Green Valley. Only got one actual problem call in my area, which I managed to solve in eleven minutes (including the trip there). Certainly makes up for the chaos of the general election two years ago. Biggest problem I had was finding the darn polling places, since I don't know Green Valley from a hole in the ground (I can get to the Sheriff's Department substation, the Subway, and that's about it). Starting to get an idea of the geography now, though.
Sadly, nothing self-destructed and the meeting this morning didn't begin with the words, "Your mission, should you choose to accept it..." *pouts*
On a completely unrelated note, a coworker pointed me to this video today. It won't make any sense at all if you haven't seen Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog but if you have it's bloody hilarious.
