Okay, so I went out and got some cork grips for my new bars...started to put them on and prompty cracked the first one. There's not enough room between the cable housing and the bar for the grip to fit in. I ended up just picking up some cork tape for now. I just want to get this thing on the road!
Another thing I've been battling is a newfound anxiety about riding. I think it has more to do with finding myself out of breath and so hot once I stop. One reason I am switching to an upright bar for my Surly. It just has to happen.
A secondary reason is because Ariana doesn't want to ride as much lately and when we do, it's the worry about her riding in traffic and finding a safe route...
