SPOILERS FOR REVENGE TOWARDS THE BOTTOM ALERT ALERT ALERT
History:
The first time we see Mikaela, she’s actually in Sam’s class when he’s giving his presentation, and she doesn’t look particularly impressed with Trent’s display of idiocy. I suppose that’s some fore shadowing to her dumping him at the lake when he calls her his “little bunny” (cause that isn’t demeaning at ALL) after she asks to drive his car. Sam is, of course, to the rescue and offers to ride her give her a ride home. Sam’s ‘car’ has some engine trouble, and upon pulling over and popping the hood, she’s extremely impressed with what she sees. Unfortunately Sam questions her a bit too deeply about why she hangs with Trent, and she informs him she’ll just walk home. Once Sam begs the car to work again, it does (of course~) and he takes her home, informing her there is ‘more than meets the eye with you’.
In the next day or so, Mikaela’s having a nice lunch with her friends when she witnesses Sam do a nice trick on a pink bike with streamers. Wondering what was up, she tells him that was “really…awesome”, then asks if he was okay. She watches him ride off, then ditches her friends to follow after him on her scooter. As soon as she catches up, Sam knocks her off and causes her bike to crash, which she was pretty pissed about til OH GOD BARRICADE comes barreling out of that warehouse after ‘LadiesMan217’. Bee saves the day by taking Sam and Mikaela for a joyride (Destination: deserted chemical plant) before dumping them to fight with Barr icade. Unfortunately, before they can get away, Barricade ejects a frantic Frenzy to chase after them, who promptly de-pants’ Sam and gets his head cut off by Mikaela (good girl).
Once everything’s calm and the ‘giant droid death match’ is over, Bee takes them to meet more Autobots (after some hesitation by Mikaela to get in the damn car, though really can you blame her?), but she finally agrees when Sam says: "Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you wanna say you had the guts to get into the car?" How do you say no to that, really? So, she gets in. They unfortunately don’t realize that the decapitated robots head has slipped into her purse, disguised as a cell phone (kinda gross, if you think about it).
From there, she finds herself in misadventure after misadventure with the Autobots and Sam (most notably meeting all the Autobots, revealing herself as Sam’s ‘friend’ to his parents to get them OUT of the room, being detained by Sector 7, escaping S7, being caught AGAIN by S7 (pattern, anyone?), being taken to the Hoover Dam to get an up close and personal look=2 0at Megatron, and then to Mission City to play with the nasty Decepticons.
Mikaela’s character in TF 2007 seems pretty plastic on first glance; she appears to be your typical token hot girl who ends up the arm candy of the nerdy hero. However, she does prove herself at least twice in the movie; once by viciously whacking Frenzy’s head off with a small electric saw (Sorry, buddy, she does feel a little bad about that), and second by hotwiring a tow truck and driving it backwards through Mission City with Bee to help take down one really big and scary Decepticon.
Two years later, Mikaela is working in an auto shop with her newly released father fixing and working on mostly motorcycles, as well as airbrushing designs onto said bikes. Her boyfriend Sam is heading off to college while she stays to help get good old Dad back on his feet. She calls Sam and threatens to break up with him, but Sam is an awfully cute little guy and of course, she can’t, and shows up at his house (in black leather omg) to say goodbye. Sam gives her the Allspark splinter that fell out of his shirt to keep safe, and she locks it in the shop’s safe when she leaves Sam’s.
The salvage scrap drone Wheelie makes a n attempt to steal it, but Mikaela sees him, grabs him with clippers, torches his eyeball, and stuffs him into a toolbox and locks him inside. She eventually flies out to help Sam when she gets a spazztastic call from him after he freaks out in his astronomy class, taking Wheelie with her. She walks in, of course, on Alice totally dominating making out with Sam, and goes to leave, but turns back when she hears Sam getting a beat down by the Pretender. The two escape (Sam’s roomie in to, poor Leo) in a silver car that Mikaela hotwires in order to get away from creepy Alice.
Mikaela kills Alice by ramming her into a street lamp, though the victory is short lived due to the vehicle getting picked up by a helicopter and dropped rather abruptly into what looks like a warehouse, and the trio is confronted by Megatron, Starscream, and a creepy little doctor bot. Lucky for Sam, Prime and Bee arrive to save the day. Optimus takes Sam, while Bumblebee takes Mikaela and Leo elsewhere. Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, Wheelie and the twins rendezvous after the death of Prime (noooo) in a remote location to hide Sam. It’s suggested they find “Robo-Warrior” by Sam’s roommate, who the rival of Leo because he continually hacks Leo’s website. Robo-Warrior turns out to be Agent Simmons from the previous movie, and after some persuasion, he shows them the alien archives he filched from S7 before it was disbanded. Wheelie (who is being kept on a leash and is being ‘trained’ by Mikaela) is brought in to try to read the symbols, but he can’t and instead suggests they find one of the ‘Seekers’ who happens to be rusting away in the Smithsonian Air and Space museum in D.C., and who is, naturally a Decepticon. However, he’s ancient and practically senile, and after revealing himself to be Jetfire (and switching sides) he teleports Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bee, Wheelie, the twins and himself to Egypt so that they may finish his mission and revive Optimus.
Once the Matrix of Leadership is located, the couple head across the desert to get back to Prime and resurrect him (Robot Jesus!~). They encounter several problems on the way, including but not limited to his parents being there, being shot at, falling off a building, and Sam himself dying (at least thats what it looks like, who knows, really) while Mikaela shrieks bloody murder and confesses her love to Sam. He wakes up, returns her sentiments, then ditches her to go rez Prime.
Prime is revived, and goes on to lay the smack down on Fallen, and everyone is happy.
The End.
Character Personality: Her personality really shines through in Revenge; she’s portrayed as sassy, smart, friendly, loyal, thinks under pressure, and is still good with those cars. Also, she’s shown airbrushing art onto a motorcycle, SO. Chicks’ got talent, man.
She learned to fix cars from her dad who was a car thief (we don’t really know what’s happened to her mom, it’s never mentioned) and she learned his trade when he took her with him when babysitters were unavailable. She had a juvie record because she refused to turn him in, but this was erased towards the end of TF 2007 due to Sam's bartering with S7. Mikaela usually hides the fact she knows a lot (LOT) about cars from her boyfriends.
She’s hot, got a sense of humor, and has no qualms about stuffing Wheelie into a metal box and taking him on a plane with her across the country to help Sam (who wont confess his love, you mean, mean boy). ALSO, she is the only girl in history to be able to run through the Egyptian desert in A) white jeans that magically don’t get dirty and B) keep her boobs in her skimpy tank while running for her life.
Powers: haha, nope, not really. She has more skills than powers, most notably her feminine wiles and her ability to hot wire vehicles under severe pressure.
