My week off

Jun 25, 2005 00:12

I really enjoyed this week. I love and miss the people here bunches. It was nice to see Elyse, Abba, Victoria, Lawson, and others that I don't hear from too often. I wish I could have spent more time with them. I love Emily to pieces. Michael and Josh are always a pleasure. I confess I'm worried about Rachel-- she's going to make some huge changes soon, and I hope everything goes as planned. I wish the other Rachel and I could have had dinner or something. I love that girl. Casey was wonderful, as usual. Thank you to everyone who made it to my party and made time to hang out with me.

Kristen Megahee's wedding was beautiful. I'm honored I was invited. It was nice talking to Merry and being around Marc. I'm glad Marc was able to have lunch with my mother and me. I pray that Kris and Jim are happy together forever.

I talked to my neighbors a little tonight. Their dog, Trevor, was running around in our lawn, looking for a game of fetch. After playing with him for a while, I walked him back to the Benkens. Jonathan has grown so much. Don and I talked about Jon and my schooling. I miss them. Besides the childhood friend I had for a bit back in Aurora, the Benkens and the Reids are the first neighbors who've opened their door to my mother and me. People just aren't friendly in CO I guess.

Well I finished my first six week summer session. Epistemology went well. Got an A. The teacher and I are friends I think. I'll invite him and his wife over for dinner with Charles and me sometime. On Monday I start Old Testament and Fiction Technique. That'll be fun.
