Geez
1. I now have a shiny new Kindle Paperwhite to replace the Kindle Keyboard I hosed, along with a proper cover for this new one (in Ink Blue). I pray I have more luck this time not dropping the darn thing, because it's really cute, and it's much easier to read books I've purchased (as opposed to fanfiction stories) on an actual Kindle as opposed to my Skyrocket.
2. It's like they're trying to make Pottermore even more of a snooze fest! The only reason I'm going through new chapters is to see if any of the unlockable material is of any interest. And at that, I could not figure out how to unlock Boggart, not with Neville's results staring me in the face (and why are we dealing with Neville's anyway?), and with no hot spots whatsoever except the spell ordeal (which stumped me for a minute because it'd been so long since I'd needed to "cast" anything I couldn't remember how), and... pfft.
I don't think frustration was the idea here. I thought fun was. Instead it's amazingly boring and I have yet to ever manage to successfully create a potion (usually due to the utterly piss poor way cauldron heating is done). And Christ, this partial set for the 3rd book had a bunch of single part chapters.
(Oh, and thanks again for trying to shoo me off to the shop so I could buy e-copies of the series, yet deny me the choice of which version of English. Yeah, not happening.)
