Tropico 4
Failed mission four yesterday (?) (due to a drought which started setting all kinds of building on fire and I did not have the money on hand to put them out) and quit without saving. Tried again today... have already quit without saving twice because of tornados. Jeez. I hate this one with its focus on importing resources and churning out exports.
Sims 3
They have three sprogs now, and all three have the mother's blue skin (sigh). One is a genie and the two others are vampires (and I can only tell about the genie based on the colour of his needs). Justus is in the process of completing the inventing quest chain so there will shortly be a bot in the house (assuming I don't boot it out).
The mother I've left to just do whatever, but she does seem to be keeping up with the children. Kind of sucks that they can't learn shit as toddlers, not like they did in Sims 2. I don't get why that was removed. It says stuff about how playing with blocks and whatnot will help "later in life", but I can't remember what that means.
The Longest Journey
So, on a whim I decided to log into my Steam account (that is to say, once I pled ignorance of what the hell name I used, which got me an email with said account name, and then pled ignorance of the password) and then had it install the game again. I have no idea why I thought it would work any better this time than the last, but I suppose I was thinking maybe Windows 7 would make some kind of a difference.
Shockingly, for whatever reason, the damn game was playable. Well, unless I tried to do things like look at April's diary or read the bulletin board downstairs at the boarding house. A lot of items flicker like mad, as well, but it is actually more or less playable at this point.
Other
I keep wanting to play a version of like... Clue... or something, but....
