Perhaps this could be added to a guide somewhere: Avoid allowing your perception of how your character is “supposed to be” to limit roleplaying possiblities.
Introspection: See, GrayZero isn’t supposed to have a temper. Theoretically. (So far the only time she’s ever had one was during the whole you’ve-got-your-vixen-in-my-Neke/you’ve-got-your-Neke-in-my-vixen affair, and those were extreme circumstances.) But enough folks have come along lately that... well, let’s just say they bother her ever so slightly. (Inhatti/Sosael/Atazael, I’m looking RIGHT AT YOU. ;) ). I’ve been trying to avoid having her start outright verbally slugging people, and as a consequence I haven’t been doing much. I consider this to be a Bad Thing.
So, theoretically g0’s about to get a bit more of a temper. Of course, this hasn’t actually been field-tested yet, so I’m not sure where I’ll go with this, but, enh, it’s at least doing SOMEthing. :)
(Of course, the fact that I haven’t had a truly “free” morning or evening ‘till at least 10pm for the past four weeks or so remains a significant factor... :) )
