Knitting obsessed
You can't imagine my relief at finding out I am not the only person in the world obsessed with both Firefly AND knitting!
I have just finished knitting my fourth Jayne hat using the Jayne Cobb hat for Mugua pattern. Three were gifts and one for me! I gave them as Christmas presents to two of my shiniest friends and we drove around the parking lot of the nearest shopping centre wearing them ... and scaring the locals.
Wearing that hat surely DOES say your ain't afeared of nuthin'!
Sadly I ran out of Jayne Hat Yarn. And developed a nasty repetitive strain injury from knitting and net surfing... (and yet I can't leave' em alone!)
Also I knitted a dinosaur (brontosaurus) in honour of Wash and now plan to knit a stegosaurus also. I even made him a little wearable sign that says "We gotta go to the crappy town where I'm a hero!"
After that I plan to knit a Jayne doll using some of the Jean Greenhowe knitted doll patterns. I did once bake the characters in cookie form...
Yeah, I need to get me a life...
That should keep me busy until next Christmas!
