As you most likely have already heard, four bombs went off in various places across the city of London. This resulted in much confussion along with 42 (give or take) deaths, and 300 wounded. The number keeps going up as more wounded die off and more bodies are found. Three of the explosions took place in underground "tubes", or subways. The fourth was on a small, yet crowded double decker bus. It was rush hour, the flying debre would have lots of close targets to hit.
The double decker bus, surrounded by traffic.
This map is incorrect. Only four bombs went off but since the trains were blown up while enroute they highlight both the major stations which they are inbetween.
You have to remember however that all of those who died were going to die someday anyways. That someday just happened to be today. Thousands of people are dying every second (and even more are being born). Please do not think I am attempting to justify the acts of the terrorists who did this, I am merely stating a true fact, a fact which tends to bring me comfort when experiencing the loss of a someone.
Let us not pray for those who are dead, for there is nothing we can do for those poor wreches now, but let us pray for those who are yet alive. For those all over the world who are lost and do not know the Lord God, Creator of the Universe, the Man who sacrificed His life that they might live. When someone looses someone, their thoughts often drift to the afterlife. "Where do you go when you die?" "Why do we exist?" "How are we made?" This is an exelent time for the Spirit to work on their hearts and lead them to the Truth about the Savior. The world (Satan) will despretly try to conceal this truth and make as many as possible go to Hell but we can use this window of opportunity to reach out and give them hope, it is up to them wether to recieve the Gift or not.
