Plastic Man
Cartoon Network is putting out a Plastic Man cartoon, pop culture zombie that I am, especially when it comes to comics I wanna like this but for the most part I don’t, too “cartoony” and annoying for me somehow, though I can’t quite put my finger on it, besides when it comes to DC stretchy guys I always preferred Elongated Man ( Read more... )

Plas has always been my fave of the "stretchy guys" over reed or ralph... but he just can't seem to cut a break cartoon-wise. This seems a bit weak still.

Yeah, like I said I want to like it but can't seem to, still just one ep it could get better.
Didn't know he was your Fav, I always liked Ralph, from the JLI days, not a big Reed fan either.

Ralph was cool, but not as surreal as Plas. Ralph was my favorite "real" character, while plas was more of a wacky daffy duck sort of guy.

I missed the labor day telethon this year, somehow?

I used to watch it religiously.

Jerry Lewis has always said that he does the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon for a secret reason, one that he won't reveal until his death.

Here's what I think the reason is:

I think Jerry Lewis IS Muscular Dystrophy. I think he's the disease, and he's somehow taken human form. Maybe it happened in the early 30's, when "Jerry Lewis" was born.

And, like most diseases, he's very very hard to kill. And all it really wants is to to finally die, and be at peace. So he/it has been hosting this telethon, on the outside chance that it'll raise enough money to someday find a cure and, then, be granted sweet death.

I'm almost 100% sure I'm right.

I saw like 5-10 minutes of it I don't know how evolved he was directly, the scenes with him looked prerecorded.
You know, I think you may have something with that theory.
