(no subject)
Finally. A little forward momentum on my thesis.
Today I actually spent a total of four hours working on my thesis. Between meeting with my advisor to discuss research design (we'll probably go with a simple one-way ANOVA) and transforming the data to fit that design, I feel like I actually accomplished something. Of course the actual working out of the statistical model will be another story. I want to actually know why I'm using an analysis of variance and be comfortable speaking the language of statistics when I need to. So if there are any stats junkies out there who want to help me get my statistical act in gear, please do!
For those of you who are either 1) normal, or 2) weird in other ways, here's a more basic question. What's your recommendation for a good cheap wine? I want to compile a Top Ten List for myself and my wife, but so far I only have four. Quite a conundrum, aye? Here are the rules of this little challenge:
1) No Charles Shaw.
2) No wine in a bag.
3) The wine must be under under $10.
