A pleasant day of games and food was had with H, neodymium155, auto_de_fe, niknakpadywak, Rus, and Sascha. In the evening we went out to watch fireworks and make some of our own. I had my potato cannon and Phil brought his black powder cannon (shown above). Potatoes flew and a fashion victim was disturbed by the noise, which was chest-thumpingly loud. All in all, a successful celebration-through-explosion.
