I discovered new bands, met the bloke from Me YOu & Everyone we KNow (he's lovely), Richard Hawley and Mark Lamarr (who isn't as scary as expected, but very opinionated about Goldfrapp and Mozz fans, as you do).
My new favorite band are Islands, who are Arcade Fire fronted by Pele from the Hives. Sorta.
And The Theatre Fire are mighty, there song 'These Tears Could Rust A train' (it's on my myspaz page) and Ariel Pink's 'For kate I Wait' are the soundtrack of the weekend. Listening to them makes me sad. Myself, Kathy and Katy are emigrating to Dallas, where you can buy buy-1-get-one-free camel lights are £2.20 (40 fags!), beers are $2, more mexican food than the size of my head is £5, you can buy Donkey's Milk soap and Voodoo floor cleaner from the supermarket, and shout "house of....jealous pancakes" at IHOP. IHOP, Denny's and Taco Bell, too. Boy oh boy.
Feel really sad now tho. Cod here. Brrrr.
