In Memoriam
I realize as I start this that unless you live around Des Moines or places here in Iowa you will have no idea who Dick Youngs was, but he died today. He was 68 years old and has been working in radio since he was 16 years old. If you have listened to the radio, gone to the state fair, or gambled at prairie meadows at any time during my entire life, you would have at least heard his voice. It's not really a voice any of us thought we'd ever stop hearing, but apparently his heart and diabetes decided otherwise. Everyone can think I'm crazy as much as they like, but trust me, he's going to be missed.
