Start of the semester entry
Well, now that I'm not faking like I'm a real person anymore, I can go back to being a real student. Which means no life outside of my computer, homework and video games. With that in mind, let's start with the professors.
CS 251: Data Structures
Professor: Aliaga
Comments: Damn, finally, a not crappy CS professor since Dunsmore. Geez, took long enough.
Current Grade: A-
COM 114: I don't care about the formal name of this class, everyone calls it COM 114
TA: Watson
Comments: I don't know...seems like a high school speech class to me. Whatever. She's nice and all, but it's gonna be a crappy class.
Current Grade: B-
JPNS 102: Japanese Level II [the second time]
Professor: Niendorf
Comments: Damn it, where is Ohashi-sensei.
Current Grade: B
BAND 116: Symphonic Band [haven't auditioned yet]
Professor: Gephart
Comments: Okay, my comments have been the same for 4 semesters now, and they'll probably be the same at the end of my time at Purdue.
Current Grade: A+ (and we haven't even had a class yet)
FLL 261: Linguistics of Foreign Languages
Professor: Mayén
Comments: What a nice lady, AND she doesn't believe in final exams. Man, I thought this class was gonna suck. But maybe...
Current Grade: A
And now what I plan to get in every class:
CS 251: B [if I apply myself], D [if I don't]
I don't know
I just need to get motivated about the CS stuff. Without a math class there, it should be easier to do. And they said it was a prerequisite. My ass.
COM 114: No idea... ...B?
I don't know what I'm gonna get in this class. I have no idea. Hopefully it's better than a C.
JPNS 102: A
This is not calculus. If I get a D in this class a second time, I will drop out of school the following semester.
BAND 116: A
'Nuff said.
FLL 261: B?
I don't know what to do with this class, cause I don't get enough of a read off the class to figure it out.
So hopefully I can get better than a 3.0 this semester. I really don't want to be on academic probation anymore, cause it's stupid.
