The Longest Journey, Prelude
Sigh. Well, here I am, sitting of by myself, away form mom, shamelessly stealing the wireless from the Richmond International Airport.
Oh, wait. I should probably explain why I'm at the airport before I continue.
Well, to make things simple, I'm getting dragged to Hawaii with my mom. Maui, specifically. And yes, you read that right, dragged. My mom has a business trip in Maui, and she's taking me along. Sounds awesome right? Well, it would be... if it didn't mean being stuck in either the hotel room or a series of shops near to the hotel the entire 8 days. Apparently, my mom thinks it'll be a fun family vacation, but the problem is that I can't really do much because technically I'm not supposed to be there and my mom will get fired if my presence is discovered, and when she's in meetings, I can't do much bit go walking or hang out in the hotel.
Anyway, moving on from my bitching, yes. I'm going to Hawaii today. And now I sit here in the airport, waiting for my first plane - we have a short layover in Texas before we continue on to Maui. I haven't slept yet today, so hopefully, that'll come on one of the plane rides, God willing.
If not, caffinee is going to be my best friend.
Nngh. I'm going to go poke one of my D&D books now.
