Huh, well, it seems that Atlus is really going all out for the Limited Edition release of Growlanser V: Generations (Being released here as Growlanser: Heritage Of War). The set they've got planned is almost Working Deigns tier (Fitting,s icne they put out the last two Growlanser titles released in America), and is slated to include: a 100-page, full-color art book featuring the work of Satoshi Urushihara, a multimedia disc with art and music from the game, a keychain, two lenticular cards, and three commemorative pins. Not quite WD tier, but impressive all the same. It's only supposed to be $50 too.
Naturally, there's a catch. It's a real, honest to God Limited Edition. One small, limited print run, that's it. And just to be clear, this isn;t a case of one print run for the LE version, then a Standard Edition comes out. No, in this case, the LE version is the only version. There is no standard edition, which means one print run of the game period. Chances are if you don't preorder or pick up on release day, you aren't getting it. I'll have to predorder mine as soon as I get back from Jersey, with whatever money I have left. It's currently scheduled to come out on the 28th of August, and being a huge Growlanser fan (To the point of owning two if the games in the series not released in the US), the only thing that will keep me from having this on release day is Divine Intervention.
So yeah, anyone who was looking to get the game, don't mess around when it comes to getting a copy of Growlanser V, particularly if you missed out on the US release of 2 and 3, because it seems this won't be around for long.
