South America a no go?
I got word from my boss about the Weatherhead trips. They've decided that the trips are not business-related enough to extend the tuition benefit to cover them.
I could still potentially do them not-for-credit just for the experience. I definitely want to do France that way. I'm not so sure about South America though. As lots of people pointed out in my last post, there are much cheaper ways to travel, and some people feel strongly that traveling in a small group or alone is a better experience.
I think I'm going to have to skip the South America trip. It seems like the only responsible choice under the current circumstances.
...I just wonder if I'll be kicking myself in a few years.
