The so-called 4-day weekend (that really is only a one day weekend for band people) is actually going quite well - not including all my homework.
On Friday, the football was only fun because we got to eat with the Hendrickson band. And I must say, their pit is sooooo cool! I mean, I know I didn’t talk to them much, but from what I saw of them, they seemed pretty nice and craaazy . . . just like our pit! <33
On Saturday, Westlake was fun toooo! When we went to the mall, Natalie, Ashley, Audra, Erin, Stephen, Totun, and I all went to Hot Topic and well . . . let’s just say in that store, there are some preeeety crazy things that can happen! But moving on to the competition . . . before pit was about to move onto the track, Lanier High Schools pit came up to ours and they started talking to us! They gave each one of us an altoid to symbolize our unity and we all ate them together at the same time. They told us not to chew it, but to savor it and make it last . . . I guess to represent the fact that our newly acquired pit-bond will last, but I’m not sure. Anyway, they were nice toooo!
Then on Sunday, I felt accomplished because I actually finished all my physics (with the exception of 7 problems) =P Annie-Lee and I went over to Olivia’s house to work on the problems together since, as the saying goes, two heads are better then one. But I usually never finish or even start my physics homework until the day before it’s due. So now, I can stop worrying about turning it in on time.
So hopefully tomorrow will follow suit with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - meaning I hope tomorrow goes well! :)
