Wednesday must have been "Be nice to Catherine" day! So I went to Hobby Lobby and when I was checking out, the total was $5.01 and I paid with a ten dollar bill. But then the cashier gave me 5 dollars back when I was only supposed to get $4.99 back. I asked her "Are you sure?" and she just said "ya, it's okay . . . it's only a penny!" I was happy!
If you want to know why I was happy, let me take you back a long long time ago . . . well . . . more like 4 years ago! But I went to Wallgreens and the total was $4.99 and I paid with a ten, but the cashier only gave me back 5 dollars and I was mad because he should have given me $5.01 back. I was infuriated. If he took a penny from each customer every day for many years he could get a lot of money by ripping people off. So on Wednesday, it was like I finally got that penny back! =P
Later, I went to Subway to get 2 cookies. I went inside and I saw the same guy that's been there every time I go to that Subway. He was really nice last time I went there with Annie-Lee, Totun, and Erin. And he was really nice when I went on Wednesday because he let me have the two cookies for FREE!!!! Yay! It made my day so much better! Though to be honest, I semi don't like it when people are so nice because then I feel compelled to do something nice for them! But on Wednesday, I just thanked them for their niceness.
Then came Friday the 13th, which by the way is my lucky day! Band concert went well . . .
Then on Saturday, Band banquet went well . . . yay for Annie-Lee's slide show! :)
Sunday . . . got together with Mary, Michael, and Ricardo to work on our debate project which isn't really going too well . . .
And yup . . . that's pretty much my life . . .
