Wow.
Today we got our marriage license - which felt like a much bigger deal than it actually was - and I went and secretively designed a cake with an awesome crazy cake-designing woman! I'm not going to tell you much, because it's a surprise. So there. I'll give you a freebie: cappuccino! ;-)
(But I will post photos much, much later. Not that you care. But you should! You'll see why.)
So stuff's coming along, and this is happening, people. Strange how unreal it all still feels!
I'm curious: for those of you who are married, what was the process of planning the wedding like for you? What elements were most important to you and why? Did you stress out about things? Tell me some stories! For those of you who are not married, how do you feel about all the capitalist silliness and self-torture you've seen others put themselves through? What, from your objective standpoint, would you do/have done differently?
