i've seen dumbbells that are plastic cases (in dumbbell shape) filled with sand or water. wouldn't be too had to remove a significant proportion of the sand from them....
not sure where you'd get them over there though.

Kickass! That's a good idea. I'll have a look around.
Someone over in the comm just posted to say you can also just buy one pound dumbbells. I'm thinking that might be light enough for him - and now I just have to find ones that look like mine so he'll think we have the same thing. :-)

Walmart used to sell these brightly colored 1lb weights but I dont know if you have a Walmart there.

I have boycotted Walmart ::blush::, but we have Zellers, which is a higher priced version of almost exactly the same thing. :-) Thanks! I'll check there, too.

Look in the girls toy department, the girls got a yoga kit from Toys R us for Christmas that had hand weights that you put water or sand into...

Ps. I've been away from the computer most of this week and just want to tell you how proud and inspired I am by you!

Ah, and I can shop online with Toys R Us! Cool. I shall check out the site immediately.
Thanks and thanks! Your compliments always make me grin and feel far too good about myself. :-D
::hugs::
BTW, I have a wee video clip I have to e-mail to you. I'll try to remember to send it tomorrow! Is there a better address for larger files, or is the one I usually use OK?
