The coolness
When I got home from work today there was a package waiting for me in the mail, post marked from Germany. When I opened it up there was the new Einsturzende Neubauten supporters album, Alles Wieder Offen.
The thing is, I stopped being a supporter a year or so ago because Neubauten announced that they will no longer tour America. Although they are one of my favorite bands, never being able to see them live again kind of soured me on the idea of sending them money. I know I will still continue to support them by buying their albums, but I'm not shelling out $60 while knowing I will never see my favorite live band perform live.
So it's truly a happy Halloween for me.
