Goal 2 is to remain smoke-free.
Former smokers know how difficult this can be. Even when the physical urge to smoke cigarettes is long gone, the emotional attachment to smoking (and all the things that occupied you while you were smoking) remains. It's a crutch, and we all have them. It just so happens I wasn't interested in using smoking as a crutch (it was also a fine avoidance technique, because it took me out of the house) anymore.
I'm still not, but the goal is to be smoke-free for another year. Year two of being a non-smoker will be complete on 1 November, 2006.
