Yes I am a geek
Ok how bad is it that I come to my mum's house for Easter sunday/sunday dinner but instead of spending the time I have here playing with the dog and my three siblings that are outside doing so...I spend the afternoon writing out lists of scenes from LHDP that I love enough to cap and possibly write about ready for a website update....if Ape and I get around to doing it next year (maybe just me with a hand every now and again)?
Yes this is me being me. I'm enjoying my lists, I always have done. Coming up with quirky and different kinds of things to write about for Xena was always something I enjoyed doing, and I have in fact got a few random lists of Xena things sitting on my laptop waiting to be updated. Things such as:
- The amount of times someone refers to Gabrielle being Eve's father in season 5 just from the way they say something (even though we know she's not of course)
- The number of different ways you can categorise episodes in order to watch them for a particular reason i.e. All the ones with Aphrodite in, or the Dahak/Hope related ones.
I have no succumbed to doing soemthing similar with PepSi, although it's not as easy. For one things can't be grouped in quite the same way, mostly due to the difference in type of show - Xena is a fantasy cult show of 6 seasons, PepSi is based on a TV drama and have only some scenes within a few seasons. Therefore I've just had to do things like:
- My favourite scenes and reasons for them.
- The various different expressions given by both Pepa and Silvia and what category that expression falls under
- The various scenes in which they hold hands
So on and so forth. All will be accompnied by pictures and commentaries obviously.
Just though I'd share my geeky brain and obvious lack of a life with you all....or at least those willing to read. :P
