[Awhile later, after a large block of the work is done in the general store, Quistis finally returns to Community Housing 4, tired but at least satisfied that progress is being made. Though climbing to the fifth floor isn't exactly looking fun right now, at least there will be a nice bath and maybe some tea at the end of it.]

[And when she opens her door, she doesn't notice anything for about two seconds - then the giant hole in her living room registers, and her eyes widen and her hands come up to cover her suddenly open mouth as she gives a small, wordless squeak of surprise.]

[Thanks to the hole, Xigbar manages to hear not only the sound of the door opening but also the squeak of surprise. And it occurs to him that he hasn't actually met his neighbor yet.

So after a moment, he pokes his head around the edge of the hole. 'Sup, what's going on in here?]
