Can someone explain to me why it is that I can go around and help all these people with all of their shit and I RARELY get shit in return. Not so much as a 'thank you'. Like.. it's expected of me or something..

Is that normal?

I plan to read the longer journal tomorrow, as I should've went to bed half-an-hour ago. Wanted to check on my friends though. And no, it's not normal. These people aren't recognizing you're choosing to help them, and they could have a much worse friend than you are to them. *snuggles*
If you do stuff for them again and don't get anything in return, stop. Let them see what they're missing and really value you. See what happens.
